Scripts
I don't promise anything useful here, but they all need Perl 5, some depend on modules that can be found in the CPAN. Also, they are ancient and may not represent my best work.
- cfpic - mounts and copies (or moves) image files from a mounted camera card to the current directory.
- rotate - reads the EXIF header in a JPEG (currently only tried with Canon jpegs) and rotates.
- mkm3u - reads the track ID from suitably tagged MP3 files and makes a playlist.
- mp3ipaq - same as the above, but it changes the file name and copies it (for my crap ipaq mp3 player).
- paid - work out how much you get paid to go to that boring meeting, or *ahem* any other time consuming activity at work.
- SSHdrop - Auto firewall out any host that tries to brute force your SSH daemon.
- Stoatsay - Old silliness. Draws an ASCII stoat with a speech bubble.
- SNMP thing - Real time stats from SNMP.
- Multicast proxy - Joins a multicast group and sends the results to a unicast destination.
- RFC 1918 subnet generator - No more stupid documentation subnets on live networks, please.
